1000 ITI Apprentice Required by Integral Coach Factory Chennai Apply Before Sep 25!

Personal Branch Integral Coach Factory, Chennai is all set to engage 1000 Fresher and Ex-ITI candidates into apprentice training posts under the Apprentices Act 1961

Integral Coach Factory (Personal Branch), Chennai is inviting qualified freshers and ex-ITI candidates to apply for the recruitment of 1000 trade apprentices. ICF has published an official advertisement of engagement of apprentices in this regard at the website pbicf.in. Online applications can be submitted by eligible and intending candidates by visiting the aforementioned website on or before the last date. The last date to apply online is September 25, 2020. Applicants must note that the engagement of selected applicants will be done for apprentice training for fixed stipend and it is not a permanent employment opportunity.

1000 vacancies have been advertised in all for freshers and ex-ITI candidates across various trades. There are 488 vacancies available in total for fresher candidates while 512 vacancies are available for ex-ITI candidates. The openings are in various trades including Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT (Radiology), MLT (Pathology) and PASAA. Freshers will be engaged for a period of 2 years (1 year 3 months for Welder & MLT trades). On the other hand, Ex-ITI candidates will be appointed for a period of 1 year only.

During the training period, candidates will receive a monthly stipend as indicated in the detailed advertisement. Fresher candidates who have passed Class 10th are entitled to receive a monthly stipend of Rs 6000. On the other hand, freshers who have passed Class 12th are entitled to receive a stipend of Rs 7000 per month. Similarly Ex-ITI candidates are also entitled to receive a stipend of Rs 7000 per month. In addition, there will be a 10% increment of the stipend during the second year of the training and 15% during the third year of the training.

Ex-ITI candidates intending to apply for Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Welder and PASSA posts must have passed Class 10th with minimum 50% marks. In addition, NCVT issued ITI trade certificate in the concerned trade is also required. Fresher candidates intending to apply for the recruitment must have passed Class 10th exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Freshers intending to apply for the posts of MLT must have passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For the trades of Fitter, Electrician and Machinist, candidates must have studied Science and Mathematics as a subject. The prescribed age limit is 15 to 24 years as on October 01, 2020, although relaxations on the upper age are applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years) and PWD (10 years) candidates.

Applications can be submitted online at the website pbicf.in. At first, one must register at the website to generate the registration number and password. Thereafter, the applicant must log in to the website and fill up the online application form. Candidates have to pay a processing fee of Rs 100 (and other service charges as applicable) online. SC/ST/PWD and women candidates are exempted from the payment of any fees. Candidates are advised to preserve the payment transaction ID for future references.
