Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is planning to conduct RRB Group D CBT 2. According to the initially released information brochure, the selection procedure for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 consisted of one CBT, followed by physical efficiency test and document verification. However, now RRB is thinking to add one more stage to the selection process and it will a computer based test.

For now, there is no official notification for CBT 2. However, if the official sources are to be believed than Indian Railway will soon release a notification for it. This is not unusual that RRB will hold two CBTs for one recruitment. Another major ongoing railway recruitment for Loco Pilot and Technician consists of 2 CBTs. Infact, candidates who applied for Loco Pilot post have to appear for 3 CBTs.

Why RRB Plans to Conduct Group D CBT 2?

Numerous reports of cheating and usage of unfair means have been pouring since the examination started. In Varanasi, 7 impostors were caught by police. Similar case happened in Ambala. In Hisar, candidates were using micromobile to cheat in the exam. These are just three incidents but throughout the nation, the cases of fake identity and use of unfair means in Group D exam have been reported. Hence, RRB is thinking to introduce CBT 2 so that the undeserving candidates are naturally eliminated from the selection process and only the worthy candidates get recruited.
