Indian Army is conducting a Recruitment Rally for male candidates for the post of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation), Soldier Tradesman (8th and 10th pass), Soldier Clerk, Soldier Tech Nursing Assistant. Official notification is also published for the same on official website of Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in. As per the notification, the Army Recruitment Rally is specifically announced for districts of Kerala Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki. Eligible candidates can apply for the said posts before the last date i.e December 04, 2020.
The Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted for the aforementioned posts from December 01, 2020 to March 31, 2021 at Colachal Stadium, Pangode Military Station Trivandrum. However, Indian Army has mentioned that the exact dates for the Recruitment Rally shall be intimated as per COVID-19 pandemic situation. The admit card for the recruitment rally shall be sent to aspirants on their registered emails at least 15 days prior to the commencement of rally.
It is important for candidates to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Indian Army. 10th pass candidates are eligible to submit their applications for Soldier General Duty (All Arms) and Soldier Tradesman 10th pass. To apply for Soldier Tech Nursing Assistant/ Assistant nursing Assistance Veterinary, Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management (All Arms) candidates must have passed 10+2/ intermediate exam in Science and Commerce respectively. 08th class pass candidates can apply for Soldier Tradesman 8th pass posts. Aspirants who have passed 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject can apply for Soldier Technical (Aviation/ Ammunition Examiner) and Soldier Technical.
Applicants applying for Army Recruitment Rally must ensure that they complete the minimum age limit of 17.5 years. Their upper age limit should not exceed that of 21 years for Soldier General Duty (All Arms) and 23 years for rest of the posts. Candidates will be selected for the Army Recruitment Rally based on their performance in Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Round, Medical Test and Written Test. The Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement and Medical Test all will be conducted at the rally site. The written test is conducted through a Common Entrance Examination (CCE). All those candidates who are declared medically fit are called for Written Test. Admit cards for this test are issued at the rally site only.
