Indian Air Force has announced that it will issue admit card for Airmen Selection in group X and Y 02/2020 phase I in three days, on September 9, 2019. A notice to this effect has been put up at airmenselection.cdac.in. Candidates who had applied for the selection test will have to download it and print it, and carry it with other documents on the day of the exam. The selection test is scheduled to be held from September 21, 2019, to September 24, 2019.
The notice at airmenselection.cdac.in says, “Dear candidates, Admit Card for STAR 02/2019 will be available for downloading through candidate login from 09 Sep 2019 onwards. Verify contents, read the instructions, which are to be strictly adhered to. A printout of the Admit Card along with other mandatory documents are to be brought along to the allotted exam centre as per the scheduled time and dates mentioned in Admit Card”.
On Monday, the admit card is anticipated to be available for download through candidate login link available on the website. There, candidates have to login using email ID and password. Once logged in, candidates will see the option “download admit card” which will ultimately open or directly download a PDF file of the admit card.
The Airmen admit card will contain several important details. To start with, there will be hall ticket number, exam date, shift, reporting time, center of exam, photograph. It will contain few such details also which would be the same as entered by candidate in application form, such as email, name, parents name, date of birth, aadhaar, gender, group applied for. There will also be a space for a photograph, where candidates have to affix the same photograph they had submitted in application form. Instructions for exam will also be available in admit card.
STAR 02/2020 phase I test will be computer based. Group X candidates will take a 60 minutes duration test, which will have questions on english, physics, mathematics as per CBSE 10+2 syllabus. However group Y candidates will appear for a 45 minutes duration test with english as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus, and RAGA (reasoning and general awareness). Such candidates who have applied for group X as well as Y will sit for an 85 minutes duration test with english, physics, mathematics, RAGA questions. In the test, one mark is assigned for every correct answer, and 0.25 mark is deducted for incorrect answers.
IAF will announce result of Airmen Selection test for Group X and Y around October 19, 2019. Whereas exact date has not been provided in the official notification. However it is mentioned, “the result of Phase-I and the list of shortlisted candidates for Phase-II, based on their performance in Phase-I Online test, will be uploaded on http://www.airmenselection.cdac.in after 25 days from the date of online exam”.
