IMU CET 2021 Result of DNS February Batch To be Announced on 22 March

Candidates can check their IMU CET 2021 results for the DNS Programme 2021 on the official website imu.edu.in on March 22, 2021.

Indian Maritime University (IMU) is going to declare the results for the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2021 on March 22, 2021. Results shall be declared on the official website imu.edu.in for the Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) Programme February batch 2021. Authorities declare the results for each course separately. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance test on March 13, 2021, can check their results by logging-in to the website. 

According to the information brochure, the IMU CET 2021 results for DNS programme were to be declared tentatively on March 17, 2021. However, authorities have changed the date and are now going to declare the results on March 22, 2021. To check their results, candidates must visit the official website imu.edu.in and click on the result link. 

IMU CET 2021 scorecard shall comprise important candidate information along with the exam scores. These details include the candidate’s name, category, gender, application form number, etc. The scorecard shall clearly mention the rank obtained by the candidate as well the marks acquired in each subject. Candidates must bear in mind that the merit or rank list for B.Tech and M.Tech applicants are released separately. 

The All-India Online Proctored Common Entrance Test (CET) 2021 was conducted on March 13, 2021. This test was conducted specifically for admissions to the February 2021 Batch of the DNS programme. The programme shall be held in all institutes affiliated with the Indian Maritime University (IMU). 

Candidates having a 10+2 or equivalent percentage of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths are eligible for the 1-year Diploma course in Nautical Science. Candidates with a B.Sc in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or electronics with physics as an individual subject in one of the course years are also eligible. However, they must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the final year. 

Candidates holding a BE or B.Tech degree from IIT or any AICTE-recognised college are also eligible for the course. However, they must have scored at least 50% marks in the final year. The new session of the IMU CET DNS February batch is tentatively scheduled to begin from April 01 onwards. It is mandatory for the students to have a minimum of 85% attendance in order to appear in the last semester. Students who have below 85% attendance but above 75% attendance have to pay the ‘Condonation Fee for Attendance’. It is very important for the students to follow the rules and stay disciplined on campus. Smoking, raising communal or racial slurs, eve-teasing, smoking in public, is strictly prohibited.
