Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak has extended the registration deadline for the IIM Rohtak Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2021 to May 11, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website iimrohtak.ac.in. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 19, 2021, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Subsequently, authorities shall be announcing the names of qualified candidates by the third week of July 2021.
Qualified candidates must then proceed to the second part of the selection process – online personal interview. These interviews shall be conducted by the fourth week of July 2021. Based on the overall performance, IIM Rohtak shall announce the selection list by the second week of August 2021. Subsequently, the 2021-22 academic session is expected to begin by the first week of September 2021. Candidates must note that this schedule may be subjected to changes in the future depending on the authorities.
IIM Rohtak 2021 selection process comprises two stages – IPM Aptitude Test and the Online Personal interview. Eligible candidates have to apply for the aptitude test by filling the IPMAT 2021 application form. Furthermore, they must pay a non-refundable application fee is Rs.3890 to apply for the aptitude test.
To apply for the exam, candidates must click on the IPMAT 2021 registration link on the official website iimrohtak.ac.in for creating their login credentials. Thereafter, using these login credentials, candidates must fill the application form and upload the required documents. These documents must be uploaded in the format and dimensions mentioned by the authorities. Lastly, they are expected to pay the application fee and submit the form. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the form for future reference.
IPMAT 2021 examination is divided into three sections – Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability. Each section shall contain 40 sections for a duration of 40 minutes. Furthermore, each question shall be allotted 4 marks whereas 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer. All questions shall be objective-based, multiple-choice questions.
Based on the IPMAT 2021 scores, qualified candidates shall be required to attend the online personal interview round. During the round, aspirants shall be evaluated on the basis of their academics, communication skills and general awareness. The final merit list for granting admission shall be based on the candidate’s composite score.
The composite score shall include three aspects – Aptitude Test score, Personal Interview score, and past academics (Class 10 and 12). The aptitude test shall hold a weightage of 45 percent whereas the interview round shall have 15 percent weightage. Lastly, Class 10 and 12 marks shall hold 40 percent weightage in the composite score.
