Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Junior Research Fellow. As per the advertisement, IIIT Allahabad has announced a total of 01 vacancies for the said post. Eligible candidates have to submit the application form before the last date, September 20, 2020. Eligible candidates have to appear for the interview sharp at 11:00 AM. They must report at Board Room, CC-II, IIIT Allahabad on time. Those who get selected have to work for the project named – “Development of rapid detection kit for novel coronavirus”. This project is funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India. Aspirants are recruited on contractual basis for one year only. Those who get selected under the JRF post have to perform activities such as the laboratory and field experiments in Nanobiotechnology and molecular biology (PCR and Hybridization techniques). The newly appointed Junior Research Fellow gets fixed remuneration of Rs. 31,000/- per month as per the DBT norms.

Only those candidates who have B.Tech/ BE/ MSc./ ME/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Biomedical/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Life Science are eligible to apply for the said post.
