The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the dates for commencement of the Term End Examinations (TEE) which will be held from March 04, 2022. The exam which was earlier scheduled to be conducted from January 20 to February 23 was postponed due to the unprecedented increase of the COVID-19 cases across the country. The date sheet will be released shortly and the hall ticket will be made available on the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in, one week prior to the commencement of the examination. All IGNOU students must keep a tab on the site for further updates regarding the same.
The date sheet will contain the important details regarding the examination such as the schedule and time. Candidates can intensify their preparations once the proper schedule is released by the university. Since IGNOU is an open university with its own methods of conducting the examination, candidates must ensure that they access the correct schedule from the official website or trusted sources as there might occur changes in the shifts or timings.

The hall ticket will be released 7 to 10 days before the examination begins. The center allotted to the candidate will be present in the hall ticket and requests to change the allotted centers will not be entertained. In case the requested center is filled, students will be allotted the nearest examination center.
Students are requested to take a printout of the hall ticket and carry it without fail on the day of the examination as the entry to the center will be strictly based on a valid hall ticket and university ID card. It has been informed that students will not be allowed to add any courses to the hall ticket once it has been updated on the official website.
IGNOU offers various courses in the regular and distance mode and the examination is conducted in various centers across the country as well as in overseas centers. IGNOU comprises 21 schools with 67 regional centers, 2667 study centers, and 29 overseas centers. The term-end examinations are held twice a year and the last date to register for this exam was on December 31, 2021 (with a late fee).
