The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage 2 Result / Merit List 2021 – 2022 on February 11, 2022. Candidates who had appeared for the test must immediately visit the official NTSE website and check their results. All candidates who had successfully cleared the NTSE stage 1 examination conducted on October 24, 2021, were allowed to give this test.
NTSE Stage 2 Result / Merit List 2021-2022
Candidates can now check their results by following the below-given step-by-step instructions. In this, candidates have to go through a single level of authentication. The steps to check results are as follows.
Step 1. Visit the official NTSE website present under NCERT, ncert.nic.in
Step 2. On the homepage itself, candidates can find the link for “Provisional Result NTSE-2021” under the “NTSE” section. Click on it.
Step 3. An authentication page will open where candidates will be asked to enter their “Roll Number”, “Date of Birth” and the captcha code. After entering these, click on “Submit”.
Step 4. The result will be displayed on the candidate’s screen.
Step 5. Candidates should download the result and take a printout of the same.

The result declared by NTSE as of February 11, 2022 is the “Provisional” result. Candidates will be allowed to submit their objection/queries against the result. NTSE will analyse all these objections and release the NTSE Stage 2 final results. Another official notification regarding the release of “Final” result will be displayed on the NTSE website.
Candidates who successfully clear the NTSE Stage 2 will be eligible to get a scholarship under NCERT. For Class XI to Class XII, a scholarship of Rs.1250/- per month is provided. For Undergraduates and Postgraduates, a scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month is provided. For Ph.D., the scholarship amount is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
