Bhubaneswar: KIIT-DU has achieved an outstanding ranking of 4th among Indian universities in the inaugural Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025, placing 92nd globally. The rankings, which highlight universities excelling in interdisciplinary scientific research, showcase just four Indian institutions—both public and private—among the top 100 worldwide, with KIIT being one of them.
India has a notable presence in the rankings, with 65 universities featured, including seven in the top 100. Anna University leads the Indian contingent, securing the 41st spot globally.
This recognition highlights KIIT’s dedication to advancing interdisciplinary research and innovation. The university stands as a key player among Indian institutions, making a significant contribution to the global landscape of interdisciplinary science.
