IGNOU OPENMAT 2019 Admit Card Releasing Soon

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is expected to release the OPENMAT admit card for XLIV examination soon. Until now there is no official notification or schedule mentioned on the official website regarding the release of hall ticket. The first session for the OPENMAT exam will be held on December 16, 2018. As only a few days have been left for the entrance examination, candidates are curious to know the exam timings, center, city etc.

According to the information brochure, the exam conducting body releases the admit card/ hall ticket 10 days before the examination. So, it is expected that IGNOU will publish the OPENMAT 2019 hall ticket by the end of this week. Once it is available, candidates must reach the official website and access the admit card link. In there enter the Name & Date of Birth or 9 digit enrollment number.

On the availability of admit card, download it as soon as possible. Website server usually goes down in the last days due to heavy traffic.

The OPENMAT admit card will be available in the PDF format containing the candidates’ registration details, exam centre details, and so on. On the exam day, candidates must reach the exam centre in time with all the important documents. It is necessary to carry a copy of admit card, photograph, identity proof, HB pencil, and other stationery items.

Since OPENMAT is an offline examination, the candidate must fill OMR sheet correctly. Once the invigilator distributes the same, make sure to put the signature as uploaded in the registration form. Also, take care that test administrator signs on the same sheet. On the OMR sheet do not put any stray marks and mark the answers with pencil only.

The OPENMAT 2019 paper will consist of four section naming General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. There will be 200 questions in the exam of 1 mark each. Moreover, there is no negative marking in the exam. Thus, candidates can attempt the maximum number of questions in order to secure good marks.

For the better preparation of the exam, candidates can practice the previous year question papers and the sample paper available on the official website. Apart from that, solve mock test and practice papers according to the exam pattern of OPENMAT.

Candidates who have missed registering for XLIV session can apply for OPENMAT XLV. The registration for which will start in the month of January 2019. The result for XLIV session is expected in the month of December/ January 2019. With this session, candidates will able to take admission in the January/ July Admission 2019.
