Indira Gandhi National Open Unversity (IGNOU) has issued the OPENMAT 2019 Admit Card on the official website. The hall ticket has been available for the XLIV session that is scheduled to take place on December 16, 2018. Candidates who have applied for the exam until November 18, 2018, can download the admit card using username and password as received during the registration process.
According to the official brochure, it was mentioned that IGNOU OPENMAT admit card releases 8-10 days before the exam. So, it was expected that it would release in the first week of December. It actually released on December 10, 2018, leaving only 6 days to download the hall ticket. So, with only a few days has been left, candidates must access it without any delay.
Exam Day Instructions
On the exam day, it is important to carry OPENMAT XLIV Admit Card, identity proof, 1photograph, and stationery items. Thus to fill the answers in the OMR sheet, do carry HB pencil, eraser, pen, and a sharpener. Apart from that do not carry any prohibited items inside the exam hall. Some of these items include cell Phones, calculators, books, slide-rules, note-books or written notes, etc.
All the candidates have to fill the answer booklet with HB pencil. While marking the answers, completely darken it. If a candidate wants to change/ unmark a response then completely erase the previous answer without damaging the sheet.
Once seated inside the examination hall, fill the name, address, pin code, centre code, and enrollment number in the answer booklet. Also, sign on the OMR sheet wherever applicable. After getting the question paper, open the seal and mark the answers in OMR sheet only.
As an important instruction, do not leave any stray marks on the answer booklet or tear/damage it in any case. For the rough work, use the question paper only, as test takers will not get the extra sheets in the exam. After the completion of the exam, leave the exam hall only after the permission of the test invigilator. For the future purpose, keep the OPENMAT admit card safe.
OPENMAT Preparation
For the preparation of the exam, students can refer to the previous year question papers or the sample paper available on the official brochure. Also, refer an aptitude book having a good number of questions of English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning. For the general awareness section, read the current affairs of at least last 6 months.
The result of the examination is expected to release in the first week of January 2019. Also, candidates who want to register for XLV session will able to register from last week of January 2019. Any latest updates for OPENMAT will be available at ignou.ac.in.
