Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) has extended the last date for TISSNET 2019 Registration. Candidates who have missed the exam registration or haven’t submitted the application form can do it until December 12, 2018. The application window will close exactly at 6:00 PM. TISS 2019 Application Form is available on the official website of the institute at tiss.edu. Candidates can apply for a maximum of three out of 53 M.A. courses offered by TISS.
TISS offers numerous programmes ranging from policy making to social service. Even candidates who want to pursue management programmes can apply for Human Resources Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR). For all the courses there are different eligibility criteria, so candidates must check and fulfill the criteria before applying for session 2019-21.
Even the application fees for the TISSNET 2019 varies according to the number of programmes selected by a candidate. The fee for one programme is Rs 1030/-, Rs 510/- and Rs 260/- for general, Not- Eligible Goi-pms SC/ST, and Eligible Goi-pms SC/ST/OBC(NC) respectively. For more than one programme, the fee will double or triple accordingly.
Candidates will not be able to edit details after the submission of the TISS Application Form.
In the application form, candidates must upload photograph and signature according to the proper format. If applicable, then applicants must also upload Challan, Category Certificate, or Income Certificate. Candidates can use the TISS Login in order to upload documents, pay the application fee, or to submit the application form.
Once the TISS 2019 Application process is over, the institute will release the admit card on December 26 & 27, 2018. The examination that is scheduled to be held on January 13, 2019, will conduct in one day irrespective of the number of courses selected by students. So, there is only one entrance examination for the post-graduate admission to the institute.
The online exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions of one mark each. Form this year, there will be no negative marking for any of the TISS programme. In order to clear the cut-off, candidates must perform well in all the three sections. There will be 40, 30, and 30 questions in General Awareness, English Proficiency, and Maths & Logical Reasoning section respectively.
For the better preparation, candidates can refer to the previous year question papers available on the official website. According to the official website, “a few sample questions would upload in due course“. So, until sample questions are available, candidates must clear the basics of each section.
