The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has declared CSEET 2021 result for the CSEET May exam today, on May 20, 2021, at 3 PM. The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) exam was held on May 8, 2021, and then retest for candidates who faced problems on the test day was held on May 10, 2021.
The result along with the subject-wise break up of marks for each candidate have been made available on the official website of the Institute of Company Secretary of India at icsi.edu. The direct link for checking the result is given below. Candidates should visit this page from time to time to check the result and know pass percentage, CS Executive registration details, and more.
The e-result-cum-marks statement will be uploaded on the official site immediately after the declaration of the CSEET result. Candidates will be able to see their result online by entering the application number and date of birth in the login window. No physical copy of result-cum-marks statement will be provided to the candidates. However, candidates can download the marks statement from the official site for further reference. The CSEET exam is conducted multiple times in a year by ICSI for the Company Secretary programmes. The exam date for July exams have also been announced.

As per reports, the pass percentage this time is 70.13%. Press release is expected to be released soon.

CSEET May 2021 result will be valid for 1 year only
The score card says, “Passing of CSEET will only be valid for admission in the CS Executive programme within 1 year from the date of declaration of result.”
Therefore all candidates who have been declared as pass in today’s result, should register for CS Executive program by May 20, 2022.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has already published the CSEET result for May 2021 exam. Next, the pass percentage for this session will be published.
The pass percentage of last exam i.e Jan-2021 session was 73.39%. It was 70.22% in Dec-2020, 78.98% in Nov-2020, 67.14% in Dec-2019, 64.53% in Jun-2019, and 62.11% in Dec-2018.

ICSI CSEET Result May 2021: How to register for CS Executive course?
Those who clear CSEET become eligible for the CS Executive course. The steps for registration for the same are as follows.
- Go to icsi.edu.
- Click on the “Student” tab in main menu.
- On the next page, click the link “Click here for registration in CS course”, which you will see in left side menu.
- Then, on the next page, click the link “Executive registration for CSEET passed” in the main menu.
- Fill the registration form and submit it.

The official website of icsi.edu is now opening directly on “Result of Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET)” announcement page. The website says “Declaration of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) held on 08th and 10th May, 2021 – CSEET RESULT – SHALL BE DECLARED ON Thursday, the 20th May, 2021 at 3:00 PM.”
Just below that, they have given link for “Click here to view Result and Download E-Mark Sheet (Best viewed in Google Chrome browser)“. However clicking the link is only showing a message “CSEET May 2021 Result will be available today from 3 PM Onwards.“

CSEET Result 2021: What after CSEET?
After passing the CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test), the journey of Executive Programme in Company Secretary begins. After clearing this exam, you can apply for the executive programme. You will get a minimum of 1 year and maximum of 5 year to complete the executive programme.

CS June 2021 exams postponed
Due to the current COVID pandemic situation globally, the institute has decided to intend to protect the interests of the candidates, that the examinations for Foundation Programme, Executive programme (old and new syllabus) and Professional programme (old and new Syllabus) scheduled to be held from 1 June 2021 to 10 June 2021 stand postponed.
The examinations will be scheduled depending upon the pandemic situation and the directions and guidelines given by the Government from time to time. The new schedule will be revised and hosted on the official website of the institute at icsi.edu in due course. A notice of at least 30 days will be given before the start of the Examinations.

Passing CSEET is mandatory to proceed in CS course
CSEET is the first milestone towards one’s journey in becoming a Company Secretary. Interestingly, this new facet of the exam is young, having been introduced in the year 2020 only.
To meet the stakeholders’ expectations and to further enhance the quality of future members is the prime objective of the Vision New ICSI 2022. The Company Secretaries (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 require introduction of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) in place of the Foundation Programme. With the introduction of CSEET from February 3, 2020, new registration to the Foundation Programme has ceased to exist w.e.f. February 3, 2020, CSEET is the only qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme.
All the students seeking admission in the Company Secretary Course including graduates/ post graduates, etc. shall be required to qualify the
CSEET from February 3, 2020 onwards.
