The council also shared the results format which will be displayed when shared via SMS. Council warned that the format will not be the same as it is on the official website of CISCE. Check out the results format that will be sent via SMS, mentioned below:

ICSE SEM 1 Marks

<<UNIQUE ID>> <<INDEX NUMBER>> ENG1-40, ENG2-40, HIN-37, MAT-38, HIS-40, GEO-40, PHY-30, CHE-30, B1O-40, CTA-45, ELG. CISCE

ISC SEM 1 Marks

<<UNIQUE ID>> <<INDEX NUMBER>> ENG-77, HIN-76, HIS-69, MAT-79, PHY-70, CHE-66, ELG.CISCE

Candidates are advised to check their respective unique ID numbers and index number while checking their results. In case the unique id number differs from the actual one then the SMS must be sent again using the correct ID number. “ELG” mentioned in the above SMS format states that the respective student is eligible to appear for semester 2 examinations. On the other hand, if any candidate finds “NEL” in their results received via SMS then it means that the candidate is not eligible to appear for the Semester 2 examinations.

The council further cleared doubts related to eligibility criteria as students who appeared for either all or any subject in the 2021-22 semester 1 examination will be eligible to appear for the Semester 2 examinations. On the other hand, students who have not appeared in any of the semester 1 examinations will not be eligible to appear for semester 2 examinations.

CISCE is also providing rechecking facilities for students directly through the official website of the council. As per the notification, the council will charge Rs 1000/- per subject as the rechecking charged for both class 10 and 12 students. The rechecking request will be accepted till February 10, 2022, at 10.00 am only. No request after the due date will be entertained by the officials.
