ICSE 10th, ISC 12th Result 2022 – Who are eligible and who are not eligible for Semester 2 examination? CISCE explains

Students can apply for recheck of the results from February 7, 2022.

CISCE results ISC 12 ICSE 10 semester 1 results

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) released the notification regarding the results of the ICSE 10th, ISC 12th semester 1 examination and the eligibility of the candidates to write the semester 2 examination. The notification was released by CISCE on their official website, cisce.org, on February 4, 2022. 

The results of the semester 1 examination of ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 examination can be accessed by the schools and the candidates individually from the career portal of CISCE. Individual candidates can also receive the result via SMS by following the procedure mentioned in the notification. Eligibility Criteria for Semester 2

The council has also mentioned the change in the eligibility criteria for the students to appear in the semester 2 exams of ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 exams. The students who have appeared in all or at least one of the subjects offered by them are eligible to write the semester 2 exams. The candidates who did not attend not even a single subject are not eligible to write the semester 2 exams. Those students have to repeat the whole year. 

The final marks of the students who attended at least one subject or missed at least one subject will be calculated based on their performance in the semester 2 written examination and project work/practicals of the missed subjects.

Objection Facility

In the notification, CISCE also mentions the provision of the students to apply for the rechecking of the semester 1 results. The students are provided with a one-time opportunity to apply online for rechecking the results from 10.00 am on February 7, 2022, to 10.00 am on February 10, 2022. The online module to submit the rechecking application will be active on the stipulated time.

To apply for the recheck, the ICSE students have to pay a fee of ₹1000 per paper and the ISC students have to pay a fee of ₹1000 per subject. The fee must be paid online while applying for the recheck. The CISCE will not provide any hard copy of the results of the semester 1 examination. The schools can download the results in the form of online transcripts and result from tabulation from the official website.
