The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Maharashtra has released the question banks for classes 10 and 12 students. Students who will be appearing for the board exams can now download the subject-wise question banks from the official website – maa.ac.in. Earlier, Maharashtra education minister Varsha Gaikwad had announced that subject-wise question banks would be provided to the students of classes 10 and 12. This time, the board examinations in the state will be conducted offline.
How to check?
The subject-wise question banks will help the students of classes 10 and 12 to enhance their preparation for the upcoming board exams. Students can avail of the benefits by following the steps given below.
Step 1- Visit the official website of SCERT Maharashtra at maa.ac.in
Step 2- Click on ‘Prashnapedhi’ (Question Paper) among other options.
Step 3- From the drop-down menu, click either on ‘Class 10 Question Paper’ or ‘Class 12 Question Paper’ as per requirement.
Step 4- Now, click on the download buttons beside every subject.
Step 5- The question bank will open on a new page.
Step 6- Download and save the same for practice.

The question banks for both classes are divided into different mediums like Marathi, English, and Urdu. Under each medium, there are streams, subjects, and direct links to download the question bank. Students are required to go across the required stream, find the appropriate subject and then click on the ‘Download’ button.
According to the minister, these question papers will help the students to practice each subject and do some self-study prior to the examination. It is expected that by solving the question papers, they will benefit greatly and boost up their confidence. Hence, the question papers have been designed keeping in mind these requirements of the students. By solving these papers, students can familiarize themselves with the examination pattern.
Exam Dates
The Maharashtra HSC exams are scheduled from March 04 to April 30 while the practical exams are going to take place from February 14 to March 03. In case students are unable to appear for the practical exams as per the stipulated dates, then they can appear for them from March 31 and April 18. Similarly, the Maharashtra SSC exams are scheduled from March 15 to April 04 and the practical exams will take place from February 25 to March 03. For students unable to appear for the practical exams as per the scheduled dates, they will be given time from April 05 to April 22.
