IBPS RRB PO 2020 Shift 1 & Shift 2 Exam Analysis; Know the Good Number of Attempts Here

Level of difficulty of the first and second shift of IBPS RRB PO 2020, held from 8:30 am to 9:20 am and 10:50 AM to 11:45 AM, is considered to be of easy to moderate level.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting IBPS PO Exam 2020 on September 12, 2020 and September 13, 2020. The examination will be conducted in five shifts; each day. As of now two shifts – first shift from 8:30 am to 9:20 am and second shift 10:50 AM to 11:45 AM – are over. Several institutes, coaching centres, YouTube channels are releasing the memory-based questions and answer keys. Candidates who are appearing in third, fourth, and fifth shifts are suggested to go through the exam analysis of the first two shift. These will help them to understand what type of questions are asked in the examination.

Discussing the IBPS RRB PO Shift 1 Exam Analysis, the exam is said to be of easy to moderate level. The questions that were asked from the reasoning section were easy. Quantitative Ability section was of easy to moderate level. Candidates who have attempted around 60 to 65 questions in the examinations with accuracy can be counted as good attempts. Our of these, they must have marked 30 to 32 questions in Reasoning and 28 to 30 questions in the Quantitative Ability section.

Most of the questions of Quantitative Aptitude were asked from Missing Number Series, quadratic equations, data interpretation (single pie chart and tabular form). Other than these topics, questions were also asked from Arithematic Work problem. The questions from reasoning section were asked from puzzles and seat arrangements; one of the confusing sections of reasoning. In comparison to other puzzles, the questions from a circular seating arrangement were difficult as reported by candidates. Following the questions of the puzzle, questions from topics of Inequality and Chinese coding are asked.

The examination for IBPS RRB PO Shift 2 was of easy level. Candidates reported that the questions that were asked from reasoning and quantitative ability section were not that difficult to answers. Those who have marked questions within the range of 55 questions to 61 questions with accuracy can be counted as a good number of attempts. Moreover, candidates should have easily attempted 28 to 31 questions from reasoning section and 25 to 30 questions from Quantitative Ability section.

As per the resources, most of the questions Reasoning Shift 2 were from Puzzles, Syllogism, and Inequality section. Other than these topics, it is also observed that questions from coding-decoding, directions were in equal number. The focus of Quantitative Ability for shift 2 was more on Arithmetic Problems. Questions were also from quantity-based missing number series. However, the difficulty level of these topics was easy and it took less time for aspirants to attempt such questions.

On a concluding note, we can say that the examinations for IBPS RRB PO 2020 (Shift 1 and Shift 2) were easy to moderate on the scale of difficulty level. Candidates who have answered a good number of questions with accuracy (as there is negative marking) can expect to qualify the exam.
