Staff Selection Commission has recently released the result for SSC Junior Engineer 2018 Paper 2. On Friday, September 11, 2020, SSC declared the result for Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity, Surveying, and Contracts). Candidates who have appeared in the SSC JE 2018 Paper-II can check their result by visiting ssc.nic.in. The examination for SSC JE was conducted on December 29, 2019.
To check the result online, aspirants have to visit the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in. Reaching the website, they can notice the result declaration under the latest section. Now, candidates have to tap on the ‘result’ section present on the top right corner of the sheet. Thereafter, select the JE tab under which the write up and link to check the result is available. Tap on ‘click here’ link present against the JE Paper 2 result section. Candidates can check whether they have cleared the examination by searching their name in the result pdf.
As per the result notice, 10635 candidates appeared the SSC JE Paper 2. Out of these, 8697 candidates are from civil Engineering and 1938 candidates from Mechanical Electrical Engineering. Now, 3800 candidates will be appearing for Civil Engineering DV and 883 for Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
Along with the result, SSC has also declared the cut off marks. These marks are determined by Paper 1 and Paper 2 cut off marks. For Unreserved category, the cutoff marks for Civil Engineering is 250.49 marks and for Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering 304.61 marks. The cut off marks for EWS candidates for Civil engineering is 229.05 marks and for Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering is 298.93. Aspirants can check the cutoff marks for other categories through result pdf.
Those who qualify the SSC JE 2018 Paper 2 have to appear for the document verification round now. Candidates who have qualified SSC JE 2018 Paper-II now have to appear for the Document verification round which is tentatively scheduled on September 28, 2020. The admit cards for DV will be uploaded on the regional websites before the conduct of the Document Verification round. It is solely the candidate’s responsibility to download their call letters for SSC JE DV. In case, applicants are not able to download the call letters then they must contact the concerned regional officer immediately.
Other than that, the marks for the candidates who have not qualified the Paper 2 will be out by September 15, 2020. These candidates can check their scores by visiting the official website of SSC. Individuals can check their result by using the registration number and registered password and clicking on result/ mark link under the candidate dashboard. The facility to check the scores will be available until October 14, 2020.
