Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (BSEH) is all set to conduct the HTET 2021 examination tomorrow, December 18, and the day after on December 19. The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2021 examination will be held offline through the OMR-based mode at selected centers across the country. Admit cards for the test have already been released on the official website haryanatet.in. Registered candidates are advised to download and print a copy of their admit cards as soon as possible.
With just 24 hours left for the HTET 2021 exam, candidates must also revise the syllabus with utmost concentration to fully prepare for the exam tomorrow. To help them boost their preparation, here are some last-minute revision tips recommended by toppers and experts:
# Begin the last-minute HTET 2021 preparation by reading a national daily newspaper such as The Times of India or The Hindu editorials. Both these papers can help candidates in building their vocabulary skills. If the time permits, they must also solve short online grammar assessments or exercises. This will help candidates get a firm grip over their language skills before the exam. Practicing the exercises from the Objective English book by SP Bakshi will also help candidates fix the shortcomings in their preparations for the English language.
# In the case of the Hindi language, the same kind of preparation is applicable as done in the case of English. So, a candidate can read a few pages of a reputed Hindi newspaper such as Navbharat Times or Dainik Bhaskar along with solving a few grammar questions, before the exam. Candidates are only expected to read a few pages from the newspaper, due to limited time in their hands.
# For Child Development & Pedagogy, candidates can try to solve questions from previous years’ papers. Although the same questions won’t be asked for tomorrow’s test, candidates can get an idea about what to expect from the HTET 2021 exam. This subject is mainly dependent on a candidate’s knowledge base and it is meant to test a candidate’s practical stance with respect to teaching and nurturing a child. Through this, it further tests a candidate’s capacity as a problem-solver as well as a mentor. So, in order to ace this subject, an aspirant must have theoretical as well as practical awareness in the field of teaching.
# To revise the Quantitative Aptitude section, candidates can revise this subject by going through all the formulae relevant to HTET 2021 examination. However, this revision must be done while recollecting how they were derived. This will, candidates won’t need to mug up the formulae. If time permits, candidates can revise the formulae in the morning as well.
# Finally, in the Reasoning section, candidates can just practice a few questions, if the time permits. However, experts advise candidates to focus on other sections more, especially a day before the exam.
