Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced more than 3,864 vacancies under Advt. No. 13/2019. The recruitment is open for twelve posts. The number of vacancies post wise are 127 in Biology, 131 in Chemistry, 304 in Commerce, 1373 in computer science, 530 in English, 35 in fine arts, 194 in Hindi, 329 in history, 522 in Maths, 35 in Music, 241 in Physical education, 6 in Urdu. Then there are also 37 vacancies in Computer Science in Mewat Region.
The registration process will commence from September 02, 2019. Before applying, candidates need to check the eligibility of the respective post. For example, age limit for the post of PGT teacher is notified to be between 18 to 42 years. Other than this, it is mandatory to have qualified in Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility test (STET) of the concerned subject. Studying Hindi or Sanskrit in matriculation will also be count as an essential qualification.
HSSC invites applications from eligible candidates through the official website, hssc.gov.in, until September 18, 2019 (11:59 pm). Candidates should fill all the details while filling the online application form. After applying, registration number and password will get generated. Note down the same to take a print out of the online filled application form and e-challan form. Last date to pay fee is September 24, 2019.
The application fee amount is Rs 500. However, female residents of Haryana, and all gender candidates from SC, BC, EWS category need to pay Rs 125 as fee. PwD and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fees.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the written test of 90 marks and socio-economic criteria and experience of 10 marks. The date of the written exam is not yet announced but it will be held in the month of October or November. The examination will be either online (computer based test) or OMR based.
HSSC PGT Teacher Recruitment 2019 exam will be will have 75% weightage for questions from general awareness, reasoning, maths, science, computers, english, hindi, and relevant subject. Whereas, 25% weightage will be for history, current affairs, literature, geography, civics, environment, culture of Haryana.
The commission has listed nine most common reasons of rejection of application form. Applicants can take note of the same and ensure that they do not make the same mistakes. More than one application form for same category, incomplete and not online application, full fee not deposited, not qualified in hindi or sanskrit are some reasons of rejection to start with. Others include not possessing requisite academic qualification as on cut off date, not mentioned identification mark in column, age limit not fulfilled, variation in data of form and documents, lack of essential qualification.
HSSC PGT recruitment 2019 requires candidates to upload certain documents in the online form. The list of documents comprises of academic qualifications documents, category certificate, socio-economic criteria relevant certificates, photograph, signature, higher qualification and experience.
