Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar is inviting online applications for various Teaching and Non-Teaching posts. The posts that are announced are of Director, Professor Associate Professor, Deputy Director Physical Education, Assistant Professor, Consultant, Liason Officer, Consultant-cum-coordinator, Landscape Officer, Coach, Accounts Clerk and Driver. Total 36 vacancies are announced for the recruitment. Official notification for the same is released recently with Advertisement No. 4/2020 on gndu.ac.in. Link to submit online applications will get active on August 10, 2020. Candidates can submit their online application before the last date, August 31, 2020.
To apply for Director HRDC, candidates must possess PhD qualification with relevant teaching experience in University/college. Candidates intending to apply for Professor (Architecture) must possess PhD degree with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Those who are applying for Professor Dr B.R. Ambedkar Chair (Political Science, Sociology, Law and Social Science) should have a PhD degree with a minimum of 10 publications/ research/ policy. They must have a minimum 0f 10 years of work experience in their relevant fields. Candidate with a PhD degree and a master’s degree with a minimum of 55 % marks are eligible for Associate Professor posts. Those who have a PhD in Physical Education and 08 years of work experience can apply for Deputy Director Physical Education. Candidates who wish to apply for Assistant Professor should have completed a master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant fields.
An LLB or LLM degree is required for Consultant in the Legal department. Candidates who have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks can apply for Liason Officer. To apply for Landscape Officer, candidates must have B. Sc in Agriculture or Horticulture. A retired professor with work experience as a Coordinator/retired civil servant in professional-grade can apply for Consultant-cum-Coordinator. 10th pass candidates are eligible for the post of Accounts Clerk. A diploma is required for Coach post.
Interested and eligible candidate can submit their forms through online mode through Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar website, gndu.ac.in. Applicants have to take 02 printouts of the online application form and send a copy to THE REGISTRAR, GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY, AMRITSAR 143005’. The hard copy of the application form must reach the prescribed address before September 08, 2020.
Along with the form, candidates have to attach a passport size photograph, self-attested copies of all the certificates of educational and professional qualifications, experience certificate, reserved category certificate. Candidates who are applying for Director-HRDC, Professor, Associate Professor and Deputy Director Physical Education have to attach academic performance Indicator (API). Those who are applying for Director, HRDC, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Deputy Director Physical Education also have to fill the scorecard proforma.
