The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of Revenue (Survey and land records) had released notifications for the the post of Village Surveyor Grade – III in which there are 11,158 vacancies. Candidates can apply online for the intended post by filling the application form before the last date – August 10, 2019 from the official website – gramasachivalayam.ap.gov.in. Any application sent through online mode will not be accepted.
No person shall be eligible to appear for AP Grama Village Surveyor recruitment until he/she is less than 18 years of age and more than 42 years of age. For employment in the post, one should obtain NCVT certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) trade of two years course with surveying as one of the subject in any Industrial Training Institute recognized by the Govt. of A.P / have passed intermediate vocational course with surveying as one of the subject conducted by the Board of Intermediate of AP / diploma in Civil Engineering from any Institute recognized by any state govt. in India / possess B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or have obtained the Licensed Surveyor certificate issued by the Commissioner / Director of Survey, Settlements and land record of AP.
To register for the post of AP Grama Village Surveyor, one must go through the above said website. The candidate applying for the first time has to fill the OTPR application by which they will receive a OTPR ID. Login with the same and registration ID and password and then fill up the required details Cross check the form once again to ensure if any details needs to be modified or not. Then click on the Submit Online Application. After successful submission of the application, an application ID will be generated. Then proceed with the payment form. On successful payment, a reference ID will be generated which indicates the completion of Registration process.
The candidates belonging to OC category has to remit examination fee and application fee of Rs 200 each. SC / ST / BC / Ex Servicemen has to pay only the application fee which is of Rs. 200. A non-local candidate has to remit a fee of extra Rs 100.
There will be a written exam for the said post which will be held on September 01, 2019 in afternoon. There will be two papers carrying a total marks of 150. Paper I is General Studies in which there will be 50 questions and Paper II will be base don subject knowledge carrying a total of 100 questions. Paper I consists of subjects like – Current affairs with special reference to national, regional and state of AP, physical geography, disaster management, general science, logical reasoning, Indian polity, etc. Paper II consists of subjects like – importance of lettering and numbering, construction of geometric figures, conventional signs and symbols, Building drawings, etc.
The selected candidates in this post will get Rs 14600–44870 pay scale. However for first two years, during probation, the salary will be Rs 15,000 per month.
