The Goa Shipyard Limited invites applications from eligible candidates for six vacancies in the senior cadre level. The posts are notified for Deputy General Manager – (Export), Senior Manager (Administration), Senior Manager (Hull), Senior Manager (Electrical and Weapon), Deputy Manager (Internal Audit) and Deputy Manager (Finance). The application process is starting on March 26, 2021, and will continue till April 26, 2021 online at goashipyard.in. The candidates selected in any of the posts will be paid as per the IDA pay scale.
According to the eligibility criteria, the candidates applying for the post of Deputy GM (Export) should be having a B. Tech degree in Mechanical / Production /Electronics / Electrical / Naval Architecture from a recognized university. In addition to this, the candidate must also have at least 13 years post qualification experience in FERA / FEMA, Letters of Credit / Foreign Trade policy matters etc.

For the applicants of Senior Manager (Administration), the candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 2 years full-time Regular MBA/ PG Degree / PG Diploma from a recognized University. Also, a minimum of 10 years Post qualification experience in administration, security matters, transportation, fire fighting, safety & security is desirable.
The candidate must possess a B. Tech degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering to apply for Senior Manager (Electrical and Weapon). In addition to this, the candidate must also have a minimum experience of 10 years in WOT / Design Directorate/ Professional Directorate for this post. For the post of Senior Manager (Hull), candidates must have a B.E/ B. Tech degree with a specialization in Naval Architecture. A minimum experience of 10 years in the same field is desirable.
The candidates applying for the post of Deputy Manager (Internal Audit) and Deputy Manager (Finance) should be Graduate and qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In addition to this, the candidate should have 04 years post qualification experience in the relevant field dealing in Internal Audit and Finalizing the annual accounts in compliance with all statutory requirements in an ERP based system, knowledge on IND AS, Taxation laws etc. respectively.
