Goa Public Service Commission is inviting online application from eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific post. The conducting body has announced 02 posts under professional college, 01 posts for Directorate of Higher Education, and 02 posts under Captian of Ports Department. Candidates interested in the recruitment can submit their online applications before July 31, 2020. Under the Goa Dental College and Hospital, the post of Lecturer in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry is announced. The post of Assistant Professor in Flute in Goa College of Music is announced under the Directorate of Higher Education. Candidates who are shortlisted under these post receives Rs. 15,600-39,100 per month salary. The post of Incharge Marine Slipway and Deputy Hydrographic Surveyor are advertised under Captain of Ports Department. Shortlisted candidates get Rs. 9,300-34,800 for Incharge Marine Slipway and Rs. 15,600-39,100 for Deputy Hydrographic Surveyor.
Candidates who have a Master’s degree in relevant subjects are eligible to submit the online application form for Lecturer in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry and Assistant Professor in Flute in Goa College of Music. Those who have a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Marine can apply for the post of Incharge Marine Slipway. A candidate who is Licentiate member of the Institution of Surveyors (India) is eligible for the post of Deputy Hydrographic Surveyor. Along with the educational qualification, candidates must also have knowledge of the Konkani and Marathi languages. In case, no candidates with Konkani Language knowledge is found then, this requirement is relaxed by the government. Eligible candidates also have to satisfy the prescribed age limit. The upper age limit for all the post of 45 years.
To apply, candidates have to visit the official website of Goa Public Service Commission, gpsc.goa.gov.in. Aspirants can locate the application link under the ‘apply online’ tab present on the homepage of the website. If candidates are not registered with the Goa PSC, they must click on ‘new users’ link. A username and password is generated and can be used to login and fill-up the form. Once done, click on ‘check application status’ to know whether the form is submitted or not.
The selection of the candidates depends on the interview round conducted by the Goa Public Service Commission.
