Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh is recruiting eligible candidates for 129 vacant posts of Medical Staff. An official notification has also been released on the official website in this regard, gmch.gov.in. The online registrations for GMCH recruitment have already started on the official website. Applicants can submit their applications online before October 26, 2020, by 04:00 PM. The last date to sent hard copies of applications and documents is October 29, 2020.
As per the public appointment notice, the announced vacancies are open for Senior Residents, Resident Anesthesia, Resident Apthologits, Casualty Medical Officer (General Medicine and General Surgery), Demonstrators, EMOs, MOs and Junior Residents. All these vacancies are available in various departments of GMCH. Moreover, eligible candidates will be recruited on a tenure basis. The appointment shall be made for a maximum period of 03 years from the date of joining of aspirants in various departments.
To apply for Senior Resident/ Casualty Medical Officer/ Senior Resident, candidates must have a post-graduation degree in concerned fields. Candidates intending to apply for Demonstrator/ Medical Officer/ Junior Resident must have MBBS degree in the relevant subjects. In addition, the candidate’s age should not be more than that of 37 years while applying for GMCH Chandigarh Medical Staff recruitment.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official website of GMCH Chandigarh, gmch.gov.in. To get the application form the link, visit the website and then navigate to ‘vacancies’ > online application link. Whilst submitting form, SC candidates have to pay an application fee amounting to Rs. 250/-. Whereas other candidates have to make a payment of Rs. 500/-. Physically Handicap candidates of Chandigarh are exempted from application fee.
On the submission of application, aspirants should take a print out of the same and submit it to “Office of Director Principal (Diary & Dispatch Section Room No. 228-A, Block-D), GMCH-32, Chandigarh”. The applications and supporting documents should reach the specified address on or before October 29, 2020, by 04:00 PM.
The selection of the candidates is based on the written test and interview round organized by GMCH Chandigarh. Based on the eligibility and application submission, aspirants are shortlisted for the written examination. Such candidates are informed about the written examination beforehand through a website or email.
