Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu has released an official notification for the recruitment of Senior/ Junior House Officers. As per the employment notice, the Senior/ Junior House Officers is advertised for 105 vacant seats. Aspirants can get the offline application form from November 02, 2020, to November 30, 2020. The post of Senior/ Junior House Officers is advertised for Physicians/ Surgeons. The available post is announced for the department of Blood Bank, Dermatology, ENT, Psychiatry, Radiotherapy, CTVS, Chest Diseases, Anesthesiology, Cardiology Radio-Diagnosis, Surgery, Gynae and Obst, Orthopedics, Medicine and Cardio-Thoracic Anesthesia. The 105 seats are available under the Associated Hospitals, Government Medical College, Jammu. Candidates are recruited only for six months for the session of January- June 2021.

Only medical graduates are eligible to submit applications for Senior/ Junior House Officers (Physics / Surgeons). The medical graduation should only be in the concerned department that a candidate is submitting applications for. Applications for the said posts can be submitted via offline mode. So, all the eligible candidates can get the GMC Jammu applications from November 02, 2020, to November 30, 2020. The filled application form should reach in the Office of the Medical Superintendent, SMGS Hospital (GMC), Jammu. Moreover, candidates also have to pay Rs. 50/- as the application fee. No application form is accepted after December 15, 2020.
The selection of the eligible candidates is based on the written examination. As per the official notification, the GMC Jammu written examination will take place on December 24, 2020, and December 29, 2020, at 11:00 AM. All the aspirants have to report in Auditorium of SMGS Hospital, Jammu and the Counseling of the House Officers. Candidates have to mandatorily appear for the written examination to get shortlisted of the vacant posts. On qualifying the written examination, candidates will be called for the Counseling session.
