As per the latest updates from the officials of Hindustan university, dates for submitting the online application form and entrance exam have been announced on the website. The engineering entrance exam for admission to Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science will be held as per two schedules, one applicable to Chennai centers, and the other for all other centers. Candidates can start filling their application form now.
Hindustan university will conduct HITSEEE in Chennai from April 25 to 30, 2020, and in all other centers on April 25 an 26, 2020. Last date to apply online is April 15, 2020.
There can be seen a similarity in the dates of the online exam of this year and the last. In 2019, the entrance exam for Chennai location was from April 28 to May 2, whereas for other centers it was on April 28 and 29. A similar timeline has been decided for this session.
Candidates who wish to apply can fill the form by visiting the website of the university which is hindustanuniv.ac.in. But before going for the registration it must be noted that those whose date f birth falls on or after July 1, 1998, are only eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2020. After visiting the website, one can check the “HITSEEE 2020 B.Tech Admission” tab in blue. Click the tab and registration page opens with all the important information. Do the registration, verify the email id, fill the application form, upload the documents and submit the detailed form.
Applicants who will fill the form will next appear for the entrance exam. Medium of the exam will be English only. Candidates will get 2 hours to complete the paper with all multiple-choice questions. The paper will be in three parts, I, II, and III which will respectively be physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their all India rank they achieve in the HITSEEE 2020 exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling whose dates have also been announced on the website itself. Counselling for students will be organized from May 7 to 10, 2020. The selection procedure through counselling will take place at the Hindustan Admission Office, Chennai.
Apart from this, the university also provides scholarships to meritorious students who secure a good rank in the HITSEE exam 2020. Students who are toppers of state and central board, and those who will secure a rank between top 1 to 25 in the exam will enjoy 100% waiver in the tuition fee. Similarly, top 26 to 50 rank holders will get a waiver of 75% in tuition fee and candidates getting a rank between top 51 to 100 will enjoy 50% off in the tuition fee.
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science conducts its own university level entrance exam called Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Exam (HITSEEE) for the admission to the B.tech and B.Arch courses. The engineering college is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
