Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Technical Officer on contractual basis. The official notification for the same is released on the ECIL website, ecil.co.in. As per the official notification, a total of 350 vacancies are out. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the aforementioned post. The last date to submit the forms is August 30, 2020.
As the recruitment is on a contractual basis, the tenure of the newly appointed Technical Officer is for 09 months. The tenure may get extended determined by the performance of the candidates. During their service period, Technical Officers receives a monthly remuneration of Rs. 23,000/-.They will be posted at the Headquarters and Zonal offices of ECIL such as Hyderabad, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.
Minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Information Technology/ Computer Science Engineering. They must have obtained at least 60% marks in their engineering degree to be eligible to apply. Moreover, the one-year qualification experience in the Industrial field is required. Out of these 01 years, they must have worked in sealing, distribution, polling, sealing, distribution, polling for 03 months.
Other than the educational qualification, aspirants also have to ensure that they meet the prescribed age limit. As per the notice, the upper age limit, as on July 31, 2020, should not be more than 30 years. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category have the upper age limit relaxed up to 05 years. For OBC, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 03 years, for the person with a disability category the upper age limit is relaxed up to 10 years.
ECIL organises the application procedure via online mode. Eligible candidates who fulfil the eligibility must visit the official website, ecil.co.in. They have to click on the careers > e-recruitment to get the online application form link. After the successful registration, a system generated application serial number get displayed. We advise to note it down for future reference.
On the basis of the marks obtained in the BE/ B. Tech, a provisional list of the shortlisted candidates is released accordingly. Such candidates who are found eligible are called for Document verification round. After the completion of DV, final appointment letter is issued. Selected applicants are required to join the office within 07 days from the issuing of offer letter which is tentatively scheduled for the second week of September 2020. Also, candidates have to obtain a Police Verification Certificate (PVC) and submit the same at the time of joining.
