NCTE Recruiting Assistant, Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator for 18 Posts, Apply Now!

Online registrations for NCTE recruitment 2020 for the announced posts will be conducted up to September 19, 2020.

National Council for Teacher Education has published an official notification for the engagement of Assistant, Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry Operator. The official notification for the same is available on the official NCTE website, ncte.gov.in. As per the official notification, the recruitment is announced to fill up the 18 vacant posts. Online registrations for this has already started at the official website. The registration window will close as per schedule on September 19, 2020.

Out of the total 18 vacancies, 03 vacancies are for Assistant post, 03 vacancies are for Stenographer Grade C, 06 vacancies Stenographer Grade D, 01 vacancies for Data Entry Operator and 05 vacancies for Lower Division Clerk. Shortlisted candidates as Assistant, Stenographer Grade C gets a monthly salary of Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400/- and Stenographer Grade D and Data Entry Operator gets Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100/- and Lower Division Clerk gets Rs. 19900/- to Rs. 63200/-.

To apply for Assistant, a degree from a recognized university is required. Those who wish to apply for Stenographer Grade C must have passed 10+2 and have 100 WPM speed in English/ Hindi shorthand. 12th pass candidates with knowledge of skill test norms dictation and transcription can apply for Stenographer Grade D post. Candidates intending to apply for Data Entry Operator should have passed 10+2 and possess speed not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for DEO. 10+2 pass candidates with 35 WPM speed in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on the computer can apply for Lower Division Clerk post.

Moreover, candidates have to meet the age limit as prescribed by NCTE. As per the notice, the minimum age limit for Assistant is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years. To apply for Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk, aspirant’s age should be within the age range of 18 years to 27 years. The lower age limit for Data Entry Operator is 18 years and the upper age limit is 25 years.

Online registration and application form submission is organized at the official website, ncte.gov.in In the official notification, NCTE has specified prerequisites for registration. They must keep a valid email ID, mobile number, personal and educational qualifications, details of credit card/ Debit card/ scanned copy of photograph and signature. Those who are applying for Assistant and Stenographer Grade C have to make a payment of Rs. 1250/-, Rs. 1000/- for Steno Grade D, Data Entry Operator and LDC posts. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/NCTE employees and Ex-Servicemen category and women candidates are exempted from fee submission. It is mandatory to take a print out of the filled-in application form as it is required for the Document Verification (DV) round.

The selection criteria for these posts comprise of two stages – Written examination, skill test. The syllabus and marks distribution for these rounds are provided in the notification in detail. The schedule for the examination and skill test will be intimated to eligible candidates accordingly.
