The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Eklavya Modern Residential School (EMRS) Teaching Staff Selection Exam (ETSSE)-2021 until further notice. Also, the facility for correction in the online application form for ETSSE-2021 will start on June 04, 2021, and will end on June 06, 2021, on the official website i.e recruitment.nta.nic.in. The decision to defer the exam schedule has been taken after assessing the situation that arose due to the second wave of COVID-19.
The examination was earlier supposed to be conducted in the last week of May/first week of June. All other dates related to the examination have also been revised. The last date to submit your online application form has been extended till May 31, 2021, from its earlier deadline which was April 30, 2021. Also, the last date to pay the application fee has been extended to June 01, 2021, instead of May 01, 2021. Candidates can apply for ETSSE-2021 by visiting the official website recruitment.nta.nic.in.
How to Apply?
Candidates can follow the given steps to complete the online application process:
Step 1: Visit the website recruitment.nta.nic.in and click on the EMRS Teaching Staff Selection Exam (ETSSE)-2021 link. Then click on APPLY FOR EMRS TEACHING STAFF SELECTION EXAM 2021.
Step 2: Click on the New Registration button if not yet registered itself. If already registered, candidates can log in by using the credentials i.e Application Number and Password available to them.
Step 4: Complete the Application Form by entering all the necessary details. Upload scanned images of all the relevant documents like Photograph, Signature, Domicile, PWD, and Category Certificate (if applicable). Also, it is not necessary to upload the Domicile Certificate as it will be verified by the concerned authorities during the interview.
Step 5: Pay the application fee using Net Banking/Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Paytm. Print the application form for future references.
Eklavya Modern Residential School Teaching Staff Selection Exam, also known as ETSSE, is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of NESTS (National Education Society for Tribal Students) for filling up the teaching posts in the EMRS schools across the states.
ETSSE-2021 is being conducted across sixteen states for a total of 3479 vacancies that include recruitment of Principals, Vice Principals, PGTs, and TGTs. Candidates who apply for Principal, Vice Principal, and PGTs positions, have to appear for a CBT followed by an interview. Those applying for TGTs just have to appear for the CBT.
Any individual who is interested and eligible, and meets the eligibility criteria defined by the NESTS, can apply for this examination. All the candidates applying for ETSSE should have a B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Also, a candidate must be proficient to teach in both Hindi and English medium.
