ECIL Hiring 17 Technical Officers, Apply Before Sept 30; Details @ecil.co.in

ECIL is looking for experience engineers for the contractual post of Technical Engineer for its various Zonal Office.

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has announced 17 vacancies for the post of Technical Officer in different zonal offices. Online registration for ECIL recruitment has started from September 18, 2020, onwards. Candidates can submit their applications on or before the last date, September 30, 2020. They can also download the official notification with Advt.No.28/2020 from ECIL website, ecil.co.in.

The post of Technical Officer is announced under the administrative control of Telecom Division (TCD), Control & Instrumentation Division (CnID), Control System Group (CSG), Smart Governance Solutions Division (SGSD) and Security System & Projects Division(SSPD) of ECIL. The following positions will be filled on contractual basis for a period of one year or as per the requirement of the project. Selected candidates receive the consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 23,000/-.

Before applying candidates should read the complete notification to know about the eligibility criteria and age relaxation for the recruitment. One must have a minimum of 01-year experience while applying for Technical Officer post. Candidate’s age should not be more than that of 30 years as on August 31, 2020. Moreover, a first class engineering degree in concerned subject is required to apply for a Technical Officer in different categories. They must have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in their bachelor’s degree.

Eligible candidates have to apply for Technical Officer by visiting the official website, ecil.co.in. They have to navigate to the ‘careers’ section and tap on ‘e-recruitment’ link. Thereafter, the registration form opens upon clicking on the apply online button. It is mandatory to take a print out of the filled application form for future reference. Note down the application number somewhere to use it in future for downloading the admit card and know interview schedule.

While applying, candidates are required to indicate the place of posting as specified in the advertisement – Durgapur, Cochin, Mumbai (CSG or HBNI), Mundra, Hyderabad (CnID or TCD), Chandigarh and Chennai. Candidates who are shortlisted as per the eligibility are called for the document verification as per the zonal office opted by them.

As per the notification, candidates have to sign the print out of the application form and paste a colour photograph at the top right corner of the form. Also, they have to include the photo/ copies of the date of birth certificate, educational qualification, caste certificate PWD certificate and keep it with them.

Based on the educational qualification and one year post qualification experience a merit list is prepared. Candidates are called for virtual interview on the basis of this merit list. The final selection for the announced post is subject to the successful completion of document verification round. ECIL will intimate the date, timings for the interview and document verification by email in due course of time.
