University of Delhi (DU) has released the PG admission 2021-22 application form, at du.ac.in. With it, the university has released the bulletin of information. PG admission seekers from all over India can now register to seek admission in B.Ed, B.P.Ed, LLB, LLM, MA, M.Sc, M.Tech, MLISc, M.Ed, Master of Journalism, MPEd, PGDCSL, MOR courses at DU. The last date to apply online is August 21, 2021.
Where and How to Apply?
While the official website of DU is du.ac.in, the url for the DU PG admission portal 2021 is pgadmission.uod.ac.in/index.php/site/login. It is here that anyone who wishes to apply, can apply.
On the mentioned page, there are five key sections – (1) important information, (2) eligibility, (3) nodal officers, (4) important dates, (5) login. It is under the login section that the link to do new user registration has been given. DU has advised that applicants should first read the information bulletin, and then apply.
In order to apply, one has to click the ‘new registration’ link, that leads to the page ‘Online Registration for Admission to Post Graduate/Master’s Programmes’. Here, fill in all the details in the form, upload documents, pay fee, and submit the form. The documents to be uploaded include passport size photograph, scanned signature, and final statement of marks of qualifying exam.
The application fee remains same as last year, at Rs 750 for UR, OBC, EWS, and Rs 300 for SC, ST, PWBD.
As per the information brochure, there will not be any scope of application form correction. It has been stated, “No correction after the submission of the form will be allowed. Social Category, Gender, and details of the Bank Account once selected/entered at the time of Registration will not be changed in any circumstance.“
50% seats will be filled via merit, 50% through entrance test. While filling the application form, one can select whether they seek merit or entrance test based admissions.
CGPA to Percentage Conversion
For CBSE, CGPA can be converted to percentage with this formula: Final Percentage of marks (%) = CGPA based on all six semesters x 9.56 .
In case of CGPA, the final calculated percentage will not be rounded off and will be considered only up to 2 decimal places
About DUET 2021
The Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2021 will be held in 27 cities, as a computer based test of 2 hours. There will be 50 or 100 questions, depending on the paper, though all questions will be MCQ type. Each question will be of 4 marks, and carry 1 mark negative marking in case of incorrect answers.
