DTU MBA Registration 2019 Ends on 27 March; Apply via CAT Score

Delhi Technological University (DTU) will close the MBA Registration 2019 on 27 March. Candidates who are interested in management programme from the university can apply at dtu.ac.in. The application fee is Rs 500/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates and Rs 1000/- for oters.

DTU offers admission to the MBA programme via the Common Admission Test (CAT) scores. So, aspirants who have appeared for CAT 2018 can apply for the DTU MBA academic session 2019-21. On the basis of cut-off, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI). Following that Counselling round will conduct to allocate the seats to selected students.

Apart from the national level exam scores, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria as well. Students must have a graduate degree with atleast 60% aggregate. Whereas, the minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/PWD is 50%. Aspirants in the final year of graduation can also apply for DTU.

DTU MBA Admission 2019

In order to apply for DTU MBA, candidates must complete the registration process. Note down the login credentials and access the application form. In there, fill the personal, contact, educational, and work experience, CAT 2018 details. In the last upload the required documents and pay the registration fee. Take the print out of application form for the future reference.

Once DTU receives all the application, then the GDPI list will release on April 08, 2019. The process will be held on 15 April. Thereafter, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of GDPI and CAT performance. The first list of selected students will issue on 29 April. In case there is a tie, a candidate with high CAT percentile will rank higher. In the scenario of the vacant seats after the first counselling, DTU shall invite students for the second round.

The fee structure for MBA first and the second year slightly differs. In the initial year, candidates will have to submit Rs 1,66,000/- and Rs 1,90,000/- in the following year. There are two campuses for management course ie Delhi School of Management and University School of Management & Entrepreneurship. The number of seats is 120 and 60 respectively. In the previous year, the highest package offered was 14 LPA. The average package is of Rs 6.4 LPA.

About DTU: Delhi Technological University was established in 1941. It offers many graduate and postgraduate course. For admission to MBA, it does not conduct its own exam and accepts the CAT scores. Candidates who haven’t appeared for it last year will able to apply for CAT 2019 in the coming months.
