The District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), Hyderabad district has released an official recruitment notice for 509 vacancies under the NHM. The vacancies are for the posts of Medical Officer and various other paramedical posts. Candidates can check the official notification available at the website hyderabad.telangana.gov.in. The last date of submission of the applications online is July 02, 2020. The application window is open on and from June 28, 2020. The selection of candidates is conducted by the District Selection Committee for the District Health Society.
Among the 509 total vacancies advertised, there are 69 Medical Officer posts, 04 Epidemiologist posts, 88 Staff Nurse posts, 59 Lab Technician posts, 05 Pharmacist posts, and 284 MPHA (Female)/ANM posts. The detailed eligibility conditions to apply for each post is further indicated in the official recruitment notice. Candidates must have an MBBS degree to apply for the post of Medical Officer. For the post of Epidemiologist, candidates having an MBBS degree or Master’s Degree in Public Health along with Council registration and 03 years of experience can apply. Candidates having GNM or B.Sc. Nursing and Council registration are eligible to apply for the post of Staff Nurse. Candidates having a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Council registration are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist. Candidates having DMLT or B.Sc. Lab Technicians are eligible to apply for the post of Lab. Technician. They must also be registered with a Parademical Board. Those who wish to apply for the post of MPHA (Female)/ANM posts must have 18 months MPHW (Female) Certificate or 2 years Intermediate Vocational MPHW (F) course. The minimum and maximum age of candidates to apply for any post is 18 years and 34 years although category-wise relaxations are applicable as per government norms.
Finally selected candidates are appointed on a contractual basis for a period of 01 years. These candidates are entitled to receive fixed monthly payments. Epidemiologists are entitled to receive a monthly pay of Rs 1,00,000 while Medical Officers are entitled to receive a monthly pay of Rs 40,000. Those appointed to the posts of ANM & Pharmacists are entitled to receive a monthly payment of Rs 21,000. Staff Nurses are entitled to receive a monthly payment of Rs 23000 while Lab Technicians are entitled to receive a monthly payment of Rs 17000.
In order to apply for the recruitment, candidates are required to visit the online portal at hyderabad.telangana.gov.in and click on the recruitment link following which, they can find the online application link. Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of necessary documents along with the application form online before the specified last date. The selection of candidates will be done by a District Selection Committee for the District Health Society. Candidates are awarded 90 marks in total on the basis of the merit in qualifying examinations and 10 marks on the basis of age. The total marks obtained forms the basis of final selection for appointment into the advertised posts.
