District Ruler Development Agency, Mayurbhanj is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill the post of Multi-Purpose Assistant (Gram Rozgar Sevak) under MGNREGA. The following post under Mahatma Gandhi National Ruler Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) is on contractual basis for a period of one year. Interested candidates can send their applications for the advertised post through registered post/speed post. The last date for the receipt of application form is July 10, 2020, until 05:00 PM.
The selection of eligible candidates will be done for announced 42 vacancies. However, these vacancies are distributed amongst different categories as per the reservation rules. Out of the total vacancies, 07 vacancies are reserved for SC, 03 for women of SC category, 21 for candidates of General category and 11 for women belonging to General category.
To send the representation for the announced vacancies, candidates must be a permanent resident of Mayurbhanj District. They must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification to apply for Multi-Purpose Assistant. His/Her age should not be below 18 years and shall not exceed the age limit of 40 years. Candidates shall also have computer education of “O” level and know how Odia language is used in Computer. Those candidates who have computer knowledge than “O” level Computer Education, such as PGDCA/BCA/MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science)/B.Tech (Computer Science)/B.E (Computer Science)/B.E (IT)/Diploma in IT and Computer Science certificate, are also considered for the post. However, they must fulfil the other eligibility criteria as prescribed.
The application form for Multi-Purpose Assistant (Gram Rozgar Sevak) under MGNREGA is accepted only if the applicant meets the prescribed qualification as well as she/he submits the form in a proper format. Candidates have to submit the application form in offline mode. The form should be filled in his/her own handwriting in a capital letter using the Blue/Black pen. After filling every information the Multi-Purpose Assistant application form shall be submitted to Project Director, DRDA, Mayurbhanj, Baripada, 757001.
Along with the application form, candidates have to furnish certain documents supporting their eligibility qualification. Applicants have to submit a certificate of 10+2 pass, caste certificate for SC category candidates issued within last one year, a residence certificate issued within last one year, copy of relieving order from the post for ex-servicemen candidates, two self-addressed envelopes of 23″x 10″ cm size with a postage stamp, physically handicapped certificates issued by CDMO, Voter or Addhar card, Bank Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of PD, DRDA, Mayurbhaj towards exam fees. These documents must be self-attested and should be submitted in an Envelope with the application form superscribed “Application for the post of Multi-Purpose Assistant (Gram Rozgar Sevak)”.
The selection of candidates under the post of Multi-Purpose Assistant (Gram Rozgar Sevak) is drawn based on merit as the marks secured in 10th and +2. Shortlisted candidates who are selected are provided with the monthly salary of Rs.7000/-.
