The Dibrugarh University has recently announced admission in the different UG/PG Distance Programmes. The candidates who wish to apply for the same can submit the application form for the UG/PG programmes on dibru.ac.in. The duration of the Post Graduate programme is 02 years. While the duration of the Undergraduate programme is 03 years.
The candidates who are willing to apply for the Undergraduate programme i..e BA or BCA should have completed their 10+2 from a recognised state or private board in any stream. However, the candidates willing to apply for the B.Com should have studied Commerce at the Intermediate level. In the same way, the candidates willing to apply for the PG courses i.e. MA need to have completed their 3 years Bachelor‘s programme from a government recognised college or Private Board. At the same time, the eligibility for the M.Com and Masters in Mathematics includes completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Mathematics respectively,
The application process for admission in any of the UG/PG courses is done offline only. The candidates can simply download the application form for the Course they are willing to apply for. Post this, the candidates are required to enter their details i.e. Personal detail of the candidate, Subject, Medium of Instruction, Date of birth, Address, Email, Gender, Caste, Physically Handicapped status.
Dibrugarh University is one of the oldest and most prominent Eastern Universities in India. The University has been established in 1965 with the passing of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965. The University is known to offer Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in different streams i.e.Arts, Science, Commerce. Apart from the academic degree courses the University also offers PhD and Research programmes. In addition to this, a total of 177 colleges have been managed by the University at present. The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning wing under the Dibrugarh University was established in 2001 with a view to providing academic learning to the students via the distance mode. Apart from the basic UG/PG courses, Dibrugarh University is now also providing PG Diploma in Computer Application.
