Directorate of Health Services Family Welfare, Govt of Assam, has decided to hold the grade-3 and grade-4 exam on September 8. The OMR test will be held from 9.30 am to 11 am for field / social worker. Computor, lower division assistant, field and evaluation worker posts applicants will have exam on the same date from 12.30 pm to 2 pm. Then the exam for grade 4 candidates will be from 3.30 pm to 5 pm.
The DHSFW recruitment 2019 exam date has been indicated in a seemingly official notification or letter, that has been published on various online outlets recently. This notification or letter in question is numbered as HSFW/Exam/139/Pt/2018/1768. It is dated August 3, and is apparently sent from the secretary to the government of Assam, of health and family welfare department.
Although when, where, and how to get DHSFW admit card 2019, is neither mentioned in this notice nor on the official website. However the admit card is most likely to release around September 1, if the exam date stands true.
This is because initially this exam was supposed to be held on January 27 this year and at that time the admit card issuance date was January 20; exactly seven days prior to exam. Since the exam date is seemingly fixed as the second Sunday of the next month, therefore it is expected that the admit card could be issued on the Sunday prior to that.
As per the notification on exam date that has been doing the rounds online, the government has “fixed the date for OMR examination for Grade III and Grade IV under DHS(FW), Assam on 8th September 2019”. This document is addressed to the deputy commissioners of Kamrup, Guwahati, Nalhari, Nagaon, Cachar, Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh, Jorhat. Therefore it is speculated that the exam centres of DHSFW 2019 recruitment exam shall be in these places.
Besides the date of exam and schedule, no other information is available from the document. However it is worthy to note that the mode of exam, OMR based, is confirmed through it.
DHSFW is looked forward to publish official notification regarding the same information, that is exam date and instructions, officially at dhsfw.assam.gov.in. It is also anticipated that the admit card for said exam will be uploaded at the same website.
The department had published two notifications simultaneously in the month of November last year. One was for 189 grade-3 vacancies, and the other was for 65 grade-4 vacancies. The former contained 96 vacancies of computor, 64 of field / social worker, 7 for field and evaluation worker, 9 for steno typist / stenographer, 6 of lower division assistant, 3 for refrigerator mechanic, and 4 vacancies of laboratory technician. Whereas the latter was simply for the 65 vacancies, not divided into any other posts.
However it had to be postponed due to “unavoidable circumstances”, as stated in a newspaper advertisement published three days before the scheduled exam date.
Candidates have been waiting for DHSFW admit card 2019, and new exam date ever since they applied for the advertised posts last year. Grade-3 applicants will have to undergo the written exam, and then skill test or computer proficiency test. Whereas grade-4 candidates will only have to face the written exam.
