Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur, Assam is inviting online applications to fill up vacancies for the post of Junior Assistant (Gr-III). As per a detailed recruitment notification published at the official website of the Lakhimpur i.e. lakhimpur.nic.in, a total of 12 vacancies are available in all. Eligible and intending candidates can apply online at the website niyukti.assam.gov.in/dclakhimpur. The last date of receipt of applications is September 30, 2020, and only candidates domiciled in the state of Assam are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Selection of candidates is to be done through written exam tentatively scheduled to be held on November 08, 2020.
As per the detailed recruitment notification published by the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur, the vacancies are bifurcated across various constitutional categories. In all, there are 12 vacancies available and interested candidates are encouraged to refer to the detailed notification for the complete vacancy bifurcation details. It may be noted that all the vacancies for the post of Junior Assistant (GR-III) are in the Establishment of DC Lakhimpur. Appointed candidates are to be compensated as per Pay Bands 14000 – 60500 and Grade Pay of Rs 62000 per month along with other admissible allowances.
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the specified terms and conditions before applying for the recruitment. One must be at least 18 years of age and within the maximum age of 40 years as on January 01, 2020, in order to apply for the recruitment. The upper age limit is, however, relaxable by certain extent as per government norms in vogue. Candidates are advised to check the official notification for more details of age relaxation. Candidates must also be a Graduate from a recognized University/Institute in order to apply for this recruitment. In addition, one must also have a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Proficiency of at least 06 months duration obtained from a recognized institute. One must note that only Indian citizens domiciled in the state of Assam, India are eligible to apply for this recruitment.
The initial selection will be done through an objective type written test consisting of Paper-I and Paper-II of 150 and 100 marks respectively. Candidates have to complete the test for Paper-I in 2 hours and Paper-II in 1 hour. The total marks carried by Paper-I is 150 while the Paper-II carries 100 marks in all. Subjects included in Paper-I are General English, General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude. On the other hand, subjects include in Paper-II are Knowledge of Computer and Language Skills in Assamese/English.
Once the written test in Phase-I is completed, candidates shortlisted will have to appear in a Computer Proficiency test in Phase-II for 50 marks. At this stage, candidates have to produce original documents before the authorities. Final selection and preparation of merit lists are to be done on the basis of merit at Phase-III as per marks obtained in Written and Computer Proficiency Test.
