Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) is inviting applications for the post of Project Fellow. The official notification for the same has been released on the CMET website, cmet.gov.in. The recruitment is announced to fill up the one vacant post. Eligible applicants can submit their applications on or before the last date i.e October 01, 2020.
CMET is conducting the recruitment drive for VSSC sponsored project with titled “Development, Process Optimization and Supply of Carbide-Derived Carbon”. The position of Project Fellow under this project is on a temporary basis and co-terminus basis and will dissolve on completion of the project (by December 23, 2021). Those who are recruited as Project Fellow has to carry out experiments with reactive gases. They get a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000/- plus 24% HRA and 01-month basis towards medical reimbursements.
Indian nationals who have passed M. Sc in Chemistry/ Materials Science with 60% marks can submit their forms for the said post of Project Fellow. Those who have UGC-CSIR NET qualification and experience in chemical processing characterization of inorganic material are desirable. Moreover, applicants also have to ensure that their age should not exceed the age limit prescribed by CMET. Candidates’ upper age limit should not be more than that of 28 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. Age relaxations are permissible to SC/ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates as per the Government of India rules.
Eligible aspirants can download the applications form from cmet.gov.in. The duly filled application form should be submitted to the “Director, Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), IDA Phase-III, HCL (PO), Cherlapally, Hyderabad – 500 051″ through speed post only. Along with the form candidates also have to attach a certain document with them – educational qualification mark sheet and certificates, date of birth, research experience, caste certificate and others as marks in the application form. These photocopies of the documents should be self-attested by applicants before sending it to the conducting body. On top of the envelope marked in bold – “ADVT. NO. : HD/02/RECTT/1/SP-42/2020” and “APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT FELLOW (SP-42)”.
Aspirants who are eligible as per the application form and eligibility are called for the written examination and interview. Information related to both these stages will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through registered email address. Candidates who are selected for the interview have to carry the following documents in original- proof of age, caste certificate, educational qualification, research experience along with other supporting documents. The result will be declared through the official website of CMET.
