Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CTET December 2019 exam on Sunday, December 8. Central Teacher Eligibility Test, the national level teacher eligibility test to determine eligibility of teachers for classes I to VIII, will be held in 110 cities in India. The short notification released recently says that online application for the 13th CTET shall be available from August 19 to September 18; application fee can be paid until September 23.
A press release outlining CTET December 2019 exam date, registration dates, test cities, languages, and official website was circulated on social media today. The official notification and information bulletin are yet to be uploaded on official website ctet.nic.in, or published in newspapers. The notification being circulated online is provided here below.

The notification says,
“The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 13th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 08-12-2019 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages in 110 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website http://www.ctet.nic.in from 19-08-2019.
The candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin only from above mentioned website and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website http://www.ctet.nic.in. The online application process will start from 19-08-2019. The last date for submitting online application is 18-09-2019 and tee can be paid upto 23-09- 2019 till 15.30 PM.”
CTET is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. The last CTET was held on July 7, in 104 cities at 2942 exam centers. 29.22 lakh candidates had registered for it. 3.52 lakh qualified. The number of qualifiers of paper 1 stood at 2.15 lakh, and that of paper 2 was 1.37 lakh.
Aspiring teachers of the country can head over to ctet.nic.in on Monday to apply for the December exam. The application form submission process will be completely online. Fee amount will be known once the process starts; last time it was Rs 700 for general and OBC, and Rs 350 for SC, ST, differently abled candidates, to appear in any one paper. The fee to appear in both papers was respectively Rs 1200 and Rs 600.
Whether there will be any change in the eligibility or mode of exam, will be known on Monday.
