The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the CTET 2018 for Paper 1 on December 09, 2018. The exam started at 02:00 PM and concluded at 04:30 PM. Now, that the exam is over, the Question Paper for CTET Paper 1 is available to download.
There are four sets in CTET paper 1 i.e. Set I, J, K, L. For each question paper set, a separate answer key will be available.
CTET Question Paper for Paper 1 has 150 MCQ type questions which a candidate had to solve in a duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes. The CTET Paper 1 2018 covered topics like CDP, Mathematics and EVS, Language I, Language II. Along with the Question Paper, the coaching Institutes has also released the CTET Answer Key 2018.
The candidates can use both the CTET Paper 1 2018 Question Paper and Answer Key to cross-check their answer and calculate their probable score. This will help the candidates in predicting their marks in the examination. For estimating the correct scores candidates should also follow the marking scheme. For each correct answers, 1 marks will be awarded. For each incorrect answers, 0 marks will be deducted which means that there will be no negative.
The official CTET Answer Key 2018 will be released by the CBSE Board after few weeks from the examination date probably in the last December 2018. The official answer key will be available at the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in. For calculating the scores of the candidate’s official answer key will only be considered.
CTET Paper 1 conducted by CBSE is for the Primary Level. Primary Level Examination is for the candidates who want to teach Class 1 to 5 students. The question paper was bilingual i.e. Hindi and English except for language papers. There are 20 languages in CTET 2018, in which the candidates had to choose two languages as language 1 and Language 2. The languages are English, Gujarati, Marathi, Sanskrit, Hindi, Kannada, Mizo, Tamil, Assamese, Khasi, Nepali, Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam, Oriya, Tibetan, Garo, Manipuri, Punjabi, Urdu.
The CTET Result will be announced within 06 weeks from the exam date. The result will contain the name and roll number of qualified candidates. With help of the roll number, the candidates will be able to check their result. The result will be declared on the official website.
The cutoff of CTET 2018 is 60%. Candidates who will score minimum 60% marks or more will be considered as qualified candidates and those will be given the Teacher Eligibility Certificate. CTET certificate is valid for a period of 7 years, from the result declaration date.
