The National Testing Agency (NTA), Delhi on behalf of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research conducted the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, UGC NET Earth Sciences exam today, January 29, 2022. The exam was held in the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm at various affiliated exam centers across the country. Applicants who attempted the UGC NET Earth Sciences exam today are now eager to analyze their paper and estimate a rough score obtained in the examination.
According to reports the UGC NET Earth Sciences exam was conducted in a Computer Based (CBT) mode. This exam was a part of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2021 Examination which was conducted for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professors’ post. Interested applicants were asked to report an hour before the commencement of the exam at their respective exam centers.

CSIR NET 2022 Earth Science Exam Analysis
Applicants who appeared for the UGC NET 2022 Earth Science exam today expressed that the questions asked in todays’ examination were moderately difficult. The question paper was divided into 3 main sections: A, B, and C respectively. Part A consisted of 20 questions out of which candidates were free to solve any 15 of them for full marks. The marking scheme proposed for part A of the exam was as follows: +2 marks for every correct answer, 0 mark for unattempted questions, and – 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Part B of the exam consisted of 50 questions out of which a maximum of 35 questions were to be solved correctly for full marks. Marking scheme proposed for this part was the same as that of Part A. The last section of the exam, Part C consisted of a total of 75 questions out of which 25 were to be attempted correctly for full marks. The marking scheme for this section was different from that of other parts. The marking scheme for Part C of the question paper was as follows: +2 marks for every correct answer, 0 Mark for unattempted questions and – 2 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
