On Sunday, June 17, 2018, many B.sc Hons graduates and integrated MS-PhD program enrolled students appeared for the CSIR NET 2018 examination for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship. Students qualifying this examination will be considered eligible to serve in the field of Science and Technology. The goal is to create Ph.D. level scientific manpower in the areas of mutual interest. In the awaited result, the candidates will be available two merit lists, JRF NET Merit List and NET Lectureship merit list. Students can also plan to establish a research lab of their own. However, you’d require permission from the Government authorities and follow the guidelines.

Working at Private Universities – Along with the Government departments, the candidates can also choose to serve in the private sectors. CSIR NET graduates who have gained 10 years of experience in the field are given opportunities to work with the private Universities.

Promotions – With experience, the students can grab the positions of the Head of Department, Principle, Vice Chancellor or Director.

Join DRDO Labs – The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) provide good job opportunities to the CSIR NET Rankers. The CSIR NET score card is evaluated by the DRDO.

Technical or Support Staff – Since the candidates gain the research skills and have a desire to support analysis, they are considered for the Scientific Lab Technician post or the position of support executive.

As a Scientific Lab Technician – You will be carrying out Team goals of Measuring, Recording, Testing, Sampling and analyzing results.

As a Support Staff -Students can also get to assist the Research analysts and Guide them.
