CSIR National Botanical Research Institute is inviting applications from candidates holding M.Sc/B.Sc degree in relevant disciplines to fill up 09 temporary vacancies. The Institute has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. nbri.res.in. Eligible and intending candidates must note that the application form is available at the website although the same will be provided at the interview venue at Lucknow. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted on December 02 and 03, 2020.
As per the detailed advertisement, the vacancies are available for limited tenure in different sponsored projects categorized as Area I, II and III. Under Area I, there are 07 vacancies available for the posts of Project Associate I (01), Project Assistant (06) in different projects. Similarly, under Area II, a single vacancy for the post of Project Associate I is available. In addition, one vacancy for the post of JRF/Project Associate I is also available. Selected candidates are to be paid monthly stipend along with HRA starting from Rs 20000 to a maximum of Rs 31000 depending on the post.
CSIR NBRI has specified the minimum conditions of eligibility for each of the advertised post separately. Candidates holding a M.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline along with 55% marks are eligible to apply for the posts of Project Associate I. On the other hand, candidates holding a B.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for the post of Project Assistant. For JRF post, along with a M.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline, candidates must also have CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT-NET-JRF/LS qualification or GATE. Candidates must also comply with the maximum age limitations which is 28 years at the lowest and 50 years at the highest depending on post.
The selection of the eligible applicants is to be done through walk-in-interviews scheduled to be held on December 02 and 03, 2020. For Area I and Area II, the interviews are scheduled to be held on December 02, 2020 from 10.30 AM and 02.30 OM respectively. On the other hand, for Area III, the interview is scheduled to be held on December 03, 2020 from 10.30 AM. The venue of the interview is Conference Room, T.N. Khushoo Block, NBRI, Lucknow.
There is no need to send advance applications for the recruitment. The application form will be provided in the interview venue. However, candidates can also download the same from the official website in advance. One must report to t he interview venue at least an hour before the commencement time for necessary document verification and filling up of application form.
Candidates are required to carry specified documents to the interview venue in original as well as photocopies of them. A latest passport sized photograph must also be carried. Candidates must note that “result awaited” candidates are not allowed to take part in the recruitment. No TA/DA will be admissible.
