CSIR Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology is inviting applications from adequately qualified candidates to fill up 11 vacancies for Project Associate and Project Assistant Posts. CSIR IHBT Recruitment 2020 Detailed Advertisement is available at the official website ihbt.res.in. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to send scanned copies of the filled up application form to specified email addresses indicated post-wise in the advertisement. Selection of eligible applicants will be done through Video Conferencing. However, the date and timings of the interview will be communicated later. As per the advertisement, the vacancies are available under various projects for the posts of Project Associate and Project Assistant respectively. Appointment to the corresponding post will therefore be for a duration co-terminus with the duration of the project. In all there are 08 openings for the post of Project Associate and the rest are for the post of Project Assistant. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the specified minimum conditions of eligibility to apply for the recruitment. The maximum permissible age for the post of Project Associate is 35 years. On the other hand, the maximum permissible age for the post of Project Assistant is 50 years. The date for determination of the age is the last date of application. In addition, candidates must also fulfil the specified minimum educational qualifications and experience as indicated post-wise in the detailed advertisement. For instance, for the post of Project Associate (Post Code 1801), candidates must have a M.Sc. Zoology or M.Sc. Ecology and Evolution qualification along with relevant experience. Candidates with MBA or M.Sc. Agriculture Economics can apply for the post of Project Associate (Post Code 1802). Candidates with a B.Sc. (Science) or BBA or BCA degree and relevant experience are eligible to apply for the post of Project Assistant (Post Code 1803). Selection of eligible applicants is to be done through interview. The details of the interview are to be intimated through the official website in due course of time. The applications will first be scrutinized by Screening Committee and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview which will be conducted through Video Conferencing.
