Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) in its recent notification has advertised 02 vacant posts for Administrative Officer and Accounts Officer. The official notification with ADVERTISEMENT No.CPRI/08/2020 is published on the CPRI website, cpri.in. Eligible Indian nationals can submit their offline application on or before November 06, 2020.
The vacancies for Administrative Officer and Accounts Officer is announced for Unreserved category and OBC category candidates respectively. CPRI has its headquarters at Bangalore and its units in Bhopal, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Noida, Kolkata and Guwahati. Its office site is situated in Nasik. Candidates are transferred to one of the units/ office sites. However, the initial period for Accounts Officer will be conducted at Noida, UP.
All the interested candidates who are applying for CPRI recruitment must read the eligibility criteria first. The post of Administrative Officer is available for candidates who have a degree in the professional qualification of MBA (HR)/PGDM/ ACS/LLB. Those who have a university degree with professional qualification of CA/ICWA/SAS/JAO are eligible for Accounts Officer. While applying a candidate’s age should not be more than that of 40 years.
Along with the educational qualification, candidates must also possess relevant experience. A minimum of 05 years of post-qualification work experience in the field of Administration of Government service is eligible for an Administrative Officer post. To apply for Accounts Officer, applicants should have 05 years post qualification work experience in the accounts department. Preference is given to those who have CA/ICWA qualification and experience in the field of personnel management and general administration.
Applications for CPRI recruitment is conducted through offline mode. Eligible candidates can download the application form through the official website cpri.gov.in. The filled-in application and all the specified testimonials should be sent to The Chief Administrative Officer, Central Power Research Institute, Prof.Sir C.V.Raman Road, Post Box No: 8066, Sadasivanagar (P.O), Bangalore- 560080. The envelope of the applications form should be superscribed with “Application for the post of Administrative Officer/Accounts Officer” before the submission.
In the envelope, aspirants have to submit self-attested copies of the relevant educational qualification certificates and mark sheets, experience certificate, caste certificate, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned employer, and others as applicable. Those who fail to submit these documents are rejected at once.
The selection for candidates for these vacant posts is determined by the written examination and the interview. Candidates who meet the eligibility as per their applications are called for the written examination. On qualifying the MCQ based examination, candidates are called for interview. The final selection is made based on the performance in Written examination/ interview round. Aspirants can check the result through the CPRI website only.
