National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) 2019 registration from November 01, 2018. Candidates will get only one month until November 30, 2018, to register for the online entrance examination. Application Forms will be available at the official website of NTA CMAT at nta.cmat.ac.in. Currently, the website is under construction, candidates can visit the website tomorrow to access the registration link.

According to the official website of NTA, the CMAT exam has been scheduled to take place on January 28, 2018. It will be held in one single session all over India. Presently, on the website, detailed information for the exam has not been available. Once the information brochure is released, complete details regarding CMAT 2019 will be available to the candidates.

For CMAT 2019, Indian citizens with a minimum of three years of graduation degree are eligible to apply. Even the candidates in the final year of graduation can apply for the exam, given that they submit the final year mark sheet before the commencement of the 2019-21 session.

CMAT 2019 Registartion

Since this is the first time that NTA is conducting CMAT, we can expect a few changes in the registration. As until last year, AICTE used to conduct the exam. Most expectedly, the CMAT registration will be same as other examinations like JEE MAIN for which registration has been recently conducted by NTA.

If the registration conducted in this manner, then the CMAT 2019 Registration will consist of four steps. It comprises authentication form, application form, uploading of documents, and payment of fees. Candidates can pay the fees offline or online to complete the application process. The fee is Rs 700/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female and Rs 1400/- for General/ OBC category.

This year it is also expected that the application correction window will also open to provide candidates an opportunity to edit the details in the form. The correction fee may or may not be applicable depending upon the data edited by students in the completely filled form. NTA may also release “Application Form Status“, it would consist of a list of candidates who have successfully submitted their form with their test city for the exam day.

CMAT 2019 is a national level entrance examination for admission to MBA, PGDM, Executive PGDM, PGCM courses. The score of the exam is acceptable at all the AICTE approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. The difficulty of the examination is less then exams like CAT, XAT. So, the preparation of this exam can be easily done by practicing all the important topics of the exam.

The key to crack any management exam is to understand the basics well. In addition to that do atleast 50 questions from each topic. As candidates are done with the syllabus, start taking sectional mocks, full-length mock test, and previous year question papers. For general awareness, be updated with the latest news at the national and international level. Also, start reading static Gk from any good book.

About NTA: It is the testing agency approved by the Union Cabinet to conduct entrance examination for graduate and postgraduate courses. The body has brought qualitative changes in the conduction of exam by providing services like online Test Practise Centre (TPC). For CMAT, the TPC registration will start later in the month of November-December.
