The admit cards for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 are likely to be released around July 09. As per the notification released by the Consortium of National Law Universities, the date for CLAT 2021 examination is July 23 and the exam will be held for 2 hours between 2 pm to 4 pm. The dates are the same for both the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs.
The candidates are advised to go through the official notification of the Consortium of National Law Universities released on the official website to get the details on CLAT 2021 examination. The examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode in CLAT exam centres that comply with Covid 19 protocols. Candidates appearing for LLM exams need to note there will be 120 MCQ’s time limit 120 minutes for answering them. No Descriptive Section will be there in CLAT 2021. All the candidates who are appearing for the exam are advised to be vaccinated.
Once the CLAT 2021 admit cards are released, it will be available for downloading on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The candidate needs to access login using their credentials i.e registered mobile number and password. After which, the Download Admit Card button will appear on the screen. Admit cards will be available for download in PDF format.
The CLAT 2021 admit card shall carry the name of the candidate, date of birth, father’s name, roll number, test date, time and city, exam reporting time, application number, category, course applied for, photograph, specimen signature of the candidate and invigilator’s signature. The candidates are required to take a print out of the admit card, and carry the same to the examination hall, along with the valid photo identity proof.
If any discrepancy is found at the time of downloading the admit card for CLAT 2021, the candidate needs to notify the exam conducting authorities and get the mistakes rectified. It is always advised to get the admit card downloaded as soon as possible, that will give a candidate some lead time in the event of any discrepancy that needs to be corrected.
Common Law Admission Test is a centralized national level entrance test for admissions to twenty two National Law Universities in India. The examination is held annually, and conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The successful candidates shall be eligible to get admission in different UG and PG programs under CLAT.
