Two of the biggest government recruitment examination dates are clashing. Both the stage I examination of Civil Services 2019 (IAS and IFS) and Food Corporation of India 2019 has been scheduled on June 02, 2019. With the announcement by FCI regarding exam dates, it has come into highlight that the exam dates are falling on the same day. The exam for the FCI will be conducted in the span of four days that are 31 May, 1,2 and 3 June. So, 02 June exam is taking place along with civil services examination.

The clash of dates leads to confusion among aspirants who are appearing for IAS, IFS, and FCI examination. This year, FCI exam is scheduled for multiple days due to an increase in vacancies to 4103. Until now, no clarification has been issued by the official authorities. It is expected that once the matter came into notice, the officials may take the appropriate action.
